COLONIC HYDROTHERAPY TRAINING FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Are you based outside the UK and interested in training as a colonic hydrotherapy practitioner?
My RICTAT-accredited Foundation programme combines online learning and live Zoom teaching with supervised practical training at The Treatment Rooms in Skelmersdale, Lancashire.
You can complete the theory from your home country before travelling to the UK for the practical part of the programme.
The Treatment Rooms is my dedicated working clinic and training premises. Students train within a professional clinical environment rather than travelling to a home-based training setting.

COMPLETE YOUR THEORY FROM HOME
The theory part of the programme can be completed from your home country.
You will receive access to the 12-module Online Learning Portal and the 12-module Foundation Training Manual. You will also attend four full-day live Zoom teaching sessions.
The live sessions give you the opportunity to learn directly, ask questions and begin building a relationship with your trainer before travelling to the UK.
TRAVEL TO THE UK FOR PRACTICAL TRAINING
The practical training takes place at The Treatment Rooms in Skelmersdale, Lancashire.
You will attend seven practical training days and complete a minimum of 15 supervised client sessions, including observation.
You will learn in a dedicated working clinic where you can experience the full client journey. This includes consultation, preparation, treatment, client communication, aftercare, hygiene and professional record keeping.
REAL CLIENTS AND SUPERVISED EXPERIENCE
Practical confidence develops through experience.
Students observe treatments, take part in supervised sessions and gradually assume more responsibility as their skills and confidence develop.
I am present to guide, observe and support students throughout the practical training. Client dignity, safety and professional standards remain central to every session.
PERSONAL TEACHING AND SMALL GROUPS
International students can arrive with different qualifications, experience and levels of confidence.
Small-group teaching allows me to understand how each student learns and where they may need additional guidance.
One of my students travelled from Sweden to train with me. Her English was good, but she felt self-conscious when explaining digestive health to clients in English. I invited her to carry out one session in Swedish, and everything flowed like a songbird.
It showed me that someone can know and understand the subject while needing a little space to find their confidence in a different language.
DO I NEED TO LIVE IN THE UK?
No. The online learning and live Zoom teaching can be completed from your home country.
You will need to travel to The Treatment Rooms in Skelmersdale for the seven practical training days and final assessment.
Practical dates should be discussed with me before booking travel or accommodation.
DO I NEED TO BE A NURSE OR HAVE A MEDICAL BACKGROUND?
You do not need to be a nurse to enquire about Foundation training.
Students come from healthcare, beauty, massage, complementary therapy and other professional backgrounds. Some are also beginning a completely new career.
I will talk to you about your qualifications and experience and explain any entry requirements that need to be completed.
WILL THE QUALIFICATION ALLOW ME TO WORK IN MY OWN COUNTRY?
Professional, insurance and legal requirements can differ between countries.
I can explain the RICTAT training pathway and the qualification you will receive. Before enrolling, you should also check the requirements that apply in the country or region where you intend to practise.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I QUALIFY?
Students have access to RICTAT membership and mentorship following qualification.
You can also continue developing your knowledge through The Treatment Rooms Learning Hub, which provides CPD courses, body-system education and practical Clinic Companion Guides for colonic practitioners.
You can continue to ask questions and seek support as you begin developing your own practice.
HOW MUCH DOES THE TRAINING COST?
The complete Foundation training fee is £3,500.
Travel, accommodation and other personal expenses are separate and are the student’s responsibility.
Please speak to me about the training dates before booking travel or accommodation.
TALK TO ME ABOUT TRAINING FROM OVERSEAS
